The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive, an international classic car event that aims to raise money for prostate cancer research, will take place in Faro on September 28.
Held simultaneously in several cities around the world, the Faro edition is organised by the Americancars Algarve Association.
The program for the day is as follows:
- 10.30am – Gathering of participants at Sulpeças Faro
- 12.00pm – Classic car tour through Faro
- 1.00pm – Lunch at a restaurant in the Faro area (to be confirmed). Those interested are asked to make their reservations in advance by calling +351 914 918 444

According to the website, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Drive is a celebration of classic style. It is an on-road motoring fundraising event, uniting classic cars built 40 years or older, encouraging drivers and passengers around the world to “dress dapper and drive for men’s health.”
All funds raised are invested in vital research and programs for prostate cancer and men’s mental health by Movember.
