The Wyndham Grand Algarve is set to host the 3rd edition of The Grand Cup, one of Portugal’s most exclusive charity golf tournaments, on December 6 and 7 at Quinta do Lago.
Combining sport and solidarity, the event has quickly become a highlight of the Algarve golf calendar.
This year, the tournament will support the Rotary Club of Loulé, raising funds for projects ranging from disease prevention and maternal health to education, access to clean water and sanitation, environmental sustainability and community development. The event also recognises individuals who excel academically and professionally.
The event will give golf enthusiasts a rare opportunity to participate in an exclusive clinic with DP World Tour champion Ricardo Santos, who will be on hand to share tips and techniques with participants.
“The 3rd edition of The Grand Cup is, above all, a celebration of solidarity, golf, and community engagement,” said Ana Camões, Commercial Director of Wyndham Grand Algarve. “We believe sport is a powerful platform to unite people and contribute to meaningful causes.”
The tournament is limited to 14 teams of four, with individual participants welcome and integrated into teams as needed. The format is Four Ball – Better Ball, and the registration fee of €450 per person includes the tournament, golf clinic with Ricardo Santos, lunch on December 6, and the awards dinner on December 7. Non-playing guests can join the lunch (€63 per person) or the awards dinner (€90 per person).
