Musical agenda runs from June 21 to September 6
The Algarve’s Vale do Lobo resort is welcoming the summer season with an “unmissable music line-up, set to transform late afternoons from June to September into unforgettable experiences.”
“Against the backdrop of open-air concerts and the enchanting setting of the sunset, each event delivers the perfect blend of great music, an exclusive atmosphere, and truly memorable moments,” the resort says.
Over the past few years, the resort has established itself as a “premier destination for outstanding live music in an exclusive and welcoming setting, and this summer will be no exception.”
Starting tomorrow (June 21) and until September 6, the Vale do Lobo 2025 Summer Events Programme promises a “superb blend of musical experiences, offering unforgettable summer evenings filled with rhythm and joy, with something to suit all tastes and preferences.”
“From the captivating rhythms of jazz, fado, and samba, each intimate concert will deliver a unique and memorable musical journey. In addition, three major open-air concerts will take place at the Parque do Golfe, paying tribute to the legendary Tina Turner, the iconic Beatles, and the incomparable Michael Jackson. These spectacular sunset performances will provide magical evenings in the stunning natural surroundings of the golf course,” the resort says.
Starting in June, Vale do Lobo will host a series of intimate Saturday evening concerts at the Tennis Academy, from 8.30pm.
“Featuring exceptional artists and musical groups, these sessions promise unmissable shows for all ages in a magical twilight atmosphere. With bar service available and the option to dine at Smash or Smash Sports Bar, these exclusive concerts offer the perfect way to enjoy a summer evening with family or friends. The relaxed lounge setting, overlooking the tennis courts and surrounding pine forest, creates a casual and welcoming ambience, ideal for music lovers of all generations. The diverse musical programme showcases high-quality acts across various genres, including samba, jazz, and fado,” the resort says.
This year’s summer events programme begins tomorrow (June 21) with the intimate concert “Roda de Samba by Nani Medeiros” at 8.30pm. Organisers say the audience can expect a “soulful evening filled with Brazilian flair and Portuguese essence, set against the golden hues of a summer sunset over the tennis courts.”
On July 5, Gringo’s Washboard Band returns to Vale do Lobo with “Jazz & Blues at Sunset”, promising an “evening of irresistibly engaging rhythm and charm.”
One of the season’s highlights will be on July 19, when Vale do Lobo hosts Tina, The Queen of Rhythm for a “spectacular tribute to the one and only Tina Turner. Set on the golf course at dusk, this powerful performance will take you on a musical journey through Tina’s greatest hits, in an unforgettable evening filled with energy, talent, and timeless pop-rock classics,” Vale do Lobo promises.
Bringing the summer concert series at the Tennis Academy to a close, “Fado with Soul” on August 2 will feature renowned fado singer Ana Laíns, who will put on an “evocative and soulful sunset performance of contemporary fado in a deeply moving and authentic atmosphere.”
On August 16, Parque do Golfe will host an open-air tribute to the legendary Beatles. “In Vale do Lobo’s elegant and relaxed setting, internationally acclaimed band The Bestbeat will recreate the unmistakable sound, style, and spirit of the “Fab Four” with remarkable accuracy. Relive some of the greatest hits in music history, from Hey Jude and Let It Be to Twist and Shout, performed with passion, authenticity, and a nostalgic touch, all within the breathtaking backdrop of the golf course”.
To conclude the series of musical concerts at Parque do Golfe on September 6 at 7.30pm, Vale do Lobo is promising “a truly unforgettable experience – a spectacular open-air tribute to Michael Jackson. Set against a stunning sunset over the golf course, acclaimed performer Ben Bowman brings the King of Pop back to life with incredible vocal precision, physical likeness, and signature dance moves. For one night only, audiences will feel as though they are witnessing Michael Jackson himself live on stage.”
