Easter will be celebrated at Vila Vita Parc in Porches, Lagoa, with a series of food events designed to welcome the arrival of spring and bring guests together around the table.
Located in Porches, the resort has prepared a programme that combines seasonal ingredients with traditional dishes, offering options across the Easter weekend.
The events are inspired by what the resort calls the “Fifth Season” – a reference to the transition into spring, when almond trees bloom and the days grow longer.
Celebrations begin on April 4 with an Easter Afternoon Tea at Piazzetta (€46 per person), running from 4pm to 6pm.
“This experience invites guests to enjoy an elegant afternoon break, featuring a carefully curated selection of fine pastries inspired by spring, savoury bites, traditional scones with clotted cream and preserves, accompanied by aromatic infusions, premium teas, or a glass of champagne from Vila Vita’s reserve,” the resort says. The setting is designed to offer a relaxed start to the weekend.
On April 5, Easter Sunday, the focus shifts to the Bela Vita Bar & Brasserie, where brunch (€96 per person, excluding alcoholic beverages, and €48 per child aged 4-12) will be served from 12.30pm to 4pm.
“In a lively setting with a jazz trio and views over the gardens, guests can enjoy an abundant buffet with a wide selection of cold dishes and several live cooking stations,” according to Vila Vita Parc.
“The experience culminates in an irresistible array of pastries and themed desserts, featuring creations from the Fifth Season Collection, developed by the resort’s pastry team. The Fifth Season Egg Collection presents five unique eggs, each inspired by the purest flavours of the Algarve: almond, orange, carob, and other ingredients that define this singular season – a tribute to the region, crafted in chocolate,” the resort adds.
Later that day, the Adega restaurant will offer a more traditional option for dinner between 6pm and 9.30pm. The highlight is roasted kid goat leg served with oven-baked rice and cabbage greens, a dish closely linked to Portuguese Easter customs.
“With these experiences, Vila Vita Parc reinforces its position as a premier destination to celebrate Easter, combining sophistication, tradition, and the renewing spirit of spring,” the resort says.
