The Algarve’s Vilamoura has announced the launch of The Uncommon Beach Residences, a new high-end development promising to “redefine the experience of coastal life in the Algarve”.
The new residential project will feature 92 apartments, ranging from one- to four-bedroom units, with areas between 64sqm and 251sqm.
The sea is described as the project’s defining feature, with homes designed to provide an uninterrupted view of the Atlantic, while a direct pedestrian path leads residents to the beach in “just a few minutes”. Select top-floor apartments include private rooftop terraces with plunge pools.
Sustainability also plays a central role. The Uncommon is being developed as a collective solar self-consumption community, with photovoltaic panels supplying energy for on-site use and sharing surplus power. The project has been awarded A+ energy certification and A water efficiency certification, the developers say.
Residents will have access to a range of premium amenities, including a shared swimming pool, landscaped outdoor areas and private underground parking. Services such as reception, concierge, cleaning and maintenance are also included. Ownership comes with exclusive access to the Vista Club Membership, offering entry to the Vista Club by the Green and the Vista Club by the Sea, a beach club located just steps from the residences.
Located near local markets, cafés and traditional restaurants, the development aims to allow residents to discover the “authenticity of the Algarve.”
The development has been designed by NLA – Nuno Leónidas Arquitectos. With prices starting at €700,000, the apartments will provide future owners a professional tourist management service, allowing for personal use while also benefitting from rental potential. Although sales officially opened in December 2025, construction began in early 2025. A show apartment is expected to be available from the second quarter of 2026, with completion scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.
