Morgado do Quintão presents the December programme of The Circle MdQ – the winery’s year-round community – with two festive dates: an open-air cinema session on the 6th and a special sensory event dedicated to coffee — one of the highlights of the estate’s winter calendar – on the 10th.
6 December — Cinema Among the Vines
On 6 December, the vineyards become a winter cinema for screenings of A Charlie Brown Christmas and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
A warm, relaxed evening for neighbours, families, and friends — with hot drinks, popcorn, sweets, and Morgado do Quintão wines. Cosy blankets will be available to keep the evening comfortable among the vines. Doors open at 4:00 p.m., with some sunset music, followed by the screening at 5:30 p.m.

Warm Gestures — Shoebox Campaign
The event supports the 21st Annual Shoebox Campaign for the Elderly, in partnership with All Stars Cinema and delivered by Castelo de Sonhos (IPSS).
10 December — Coffee & Terroir
On 10 December, Morgado do Quintão hosts Café & Terroir, a sensory journey organised with Al-Gharb Coffee Roasters, an Algarve speciality coffee roastery dedicated to single-origin beans, traceability, and roast profiles that honour each origin’s natural character.
More than just a tasting, Café & Terroir invites guests to explore coffee as one explores wine: slowly, intentionally and with curiosity.
The experience includes:
- Guided tasting of 4 speciality coffees
- Full introduction to the professional cupping ritual
- Understanding espresso vs. filter and alternative extractions
- How aroma, temperature and texture shape flavour
- A relaxed walk through Morgado do Quintão’s old vineyards
- A closing conversation to deepen aromas, terroir and understanding
