AIMA, the Portuguese Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum which has seen long queues of migrants camped outside its offices for weeks now, has put a link online that should allow many of them to resolve their problems via email. The link can be found on the agency’s website (https://services.aima.gov.pt/SAPA/change_mail.php) An official source has stressed it should be enough to expedite the procedure for scheduling appointments and “ensure compliance with the new rules that came into force at the beginning of 2024”.
