For this year’s celebrations, the hotel in Quinta do Lago has prepared two exclusive programmes: A Golden Christmas on December 24 and 25, and A Golden Night in Venice on New Year’s Eve. Both promise memorable experiences that bring together fine dining, live music and dazzling décor.

A Golden Christmas offers a festive dinner on December 24 and 25, featuring a buffet of Portuguese and international specialities selected to reflect the spirit of the season. Among the highlights are cod with grelos and cornbread, polvo à lagareiro, turkey roulade with nuts and rosemary sauce, lamb chops with mint sauce, and traditional desserts such as rabanadas, pumpkin fritters, bolo-rei and yule log.
Every detail has been considered to provide a complete gastronomic experience, accompanied by a selection of premium beverages in a warm yet sophisticated setting.
To welcome the new year, the Wyndham Grand Algarve invites guests to a gala evening inspired by the Venice Carnival and a special dinner crafted by executive chef Alexandre Oliveira.
The menu includes creations such as scarlet prawn ravioli with basil and lemon foam, lightly cured cod with potato mousseline and caviar, beef loin with baby vegetables and jus, and citrus mousse with limoncello.
The evening continues with live music, cocktails, a late-night buffet and a DJ-led celebration until 2am. For younger guests, the Kids Club is available until 1am, ensuring entertainment and safety throughout the night.
