Lifetime Martial Arts has been teaching ITF taekwondo in Albufeira for more than 15 months and recently welcomed Master Steve Moxey (sensei), who is head of British JuJitsu Ryu. Master Moxey holds a 6th dan in Jujitsu and a wealth of experience in other styles.
Ian Donnelly of Lifetime Martial Arts follows his traditional curriculum of original traditional ITF taekwon-do and his main focus is helping children with issues related to confidence, respect and positive attitude. He is well known for his impressive flying and spinning kicks and has even appeared on television with his own “whiplash kick”.
Ian Donnelly said: “Having Master Moxey come to our school was a huge honour as he is a very talented and in demand instructor. Earlier this year we had taekwondo Master Frank Murphy visit us and we wanted to bring something completely different and who better than Master Moxey. It is also important for our students to see the variety and level of skill required to perfect technique.”
Master Moxey will be back in the Algarve on July 30 and 31 next year for a two-day seminar in Albufeira along with several other leading martial artists. Lifetime Martial Arts will be attending the world class event that will include Kevin Pell 9th dan, Fay Goodman 7th dan, Niall Grange 6th dan and others.
