The Algarve Senior Bikers enjoyed “beautiful scenery, cool temperatures and very quiet roads” on a recent ride up to Cachopo and onwards to 500 metre heights, until lunch in Cabanas.
Ride leader Peter Kenyon said: “The group descended to the Ribeira de Odeleite river bed, possibly the scene of a future group lunch when the river is in flood. Our ace paparazzo snapped the group photo with Olhão and Fuseta as a backdrop. Lunch in Restaurant Charrete was deliciously-cooked fish, a mixed grill or a vegan dish.”
The next ride will be on Tuesday October 8 to Salir and to Faro Island for lunch.
