Amara Restaurant, in Quinta do Lago, is hosting an “exclusive evening dedicated to the pleasures of wine and gastronomy”. For this special Wine Dinner, AdegaMãe has been invited to showcase its wines alongside the culinary creativity of Executive Chef Nelson Candeias, promising “a partnership of excellence”.
For this special occasion, sommelier Jorge Bita has selected a variety of wines from AdegaMãe, a leading producer in the Lisbon region, renowned for its innovative approach and balance between tradition and modernity.
AdegaMãe has become known for the freshness and elegance of its wines, “the result of the Atlantic’s influence that gives each harvest its own identity. The whites reveal vibrant acidity and striking aromatic expression, while the reds stand out for their depth, structure and elegant character – a perfect combination for Amara’s gastronomic philosophy”.
Inspired by AdegaMãe wines, Chef Nelson Candeias has created a menu “that harmonises flavours with sophistication”:
- Adega Mãe “Pinot Noir” Brut Nature Rosé Sparkling Wine – Mushroom, egg and hazelnut tartlet
- Adega Mãe “Arinto” White – Thai salad with crispy soft-shell crab
- Adega Mãe “Pinot Noir” Rosé – Lily confit in olive oil, sautéed broad beans, wakame seaweed and yoghurt sauce
- Adega Mãe Reserva Red – Seared duck breast, red cabbage and apple purée, beetroot and juniper sauce
- Adega Mãe Late Harvest “Semillon & Petit Manseng” – Olive oil and honey pudding with fig ice cream
Located in the Four Seasons Fairways, Amara’s Wine Dinners are already a tradition, bringing together prestigious producers and wine lovers in an elegant and intimate setting.
