Loulé is hosting the “Comeres D’Aqui – Flavours of Easter 2026” Gastronomic Fortnight, from March 27 to April 12, celebrating the region’s culinary heritage.
Participating restaurants will serve special menus showcasing traditional recipes and local produce, offering visitors and residents a taste of authentic Algarvian cuisine.
The fortnight also features a variety of activities, including an egg hunt, guided walks with shepherds and beekeepers, exhibitions on local products and the Churra Algarvia sheep wool cycle, plus confectionery workshops.
The gastronomic fortnight thus establishes itself as a flagship event, promoting the local economy, the restaurant sector and gastronomic heritage, whilst offering unique experiences both at the table and beyond.
Some events are free, while others require registration and a fee.
The initiative highlights Loulé’s gastronomy, supports the local restaurant sector, and promotes the region’s cultural and culinary traditions.
