Apexa’s special needs people supported by British resident

A British businessman living in the Algarve has donated €2,500 to APEXA, an association supporting special needs people in the region.

Brian Gatnar, owner of Loja dos Descobrimentos in Lagos, learnt about the work of the Associação de Apoio à Pessoa Excepcional do Algarve, which is based in Guia, after attending an adapted football tournament (TIFAA) organised by the association. Fascinated by what he saw, he decided he had to offer his support.

A spokesman from APEXA said the donation is “very welcome in the face of the crisis scenario the country lives in”.
