The 2025 Back to School campaign, organised by the Silves-based family charity Castelo de Sonhos, raised sufficient funds to purchase and distribute 65 filled backpacks to disadvantaged children within the Silves municipality.
Each backpack contained the school materials needed for the start of the new term.
Special thanks go to the Peace and Harmony Masonic Lodge, Charles and Maggie for collecting funds and materials, individual members of the Silves Rotary Club and kind members of the public.
The children were delighted to receive their filled, colourful backpacks.
