Boliqueime Food Festival brings feast of flavours and live music

Boliqueime Food Fest runs from July 25 to 27

The Boliqueime Food Festival (BFF) is back for its sixth edition, bringing three evenings of delicious street food, local crafts, and live music to the heart of the Algarve village. From Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27, the Largo da Feira will come alive with the sounds, smells, and flavours of summer.

Over the course of the weekend, visitors can explore a wide range of street food stalls offering everything from traditional Portuguese bites to international favourites. Whether you’re craving something savoury or looking to satisfy a sweet tooth, there will be plenty on offer – including handmade treats and desserts.

The festival also features a market area with local crafts and artisanal products, perfect for picking up something unique or simply browsing between meals.

But it’s not just about food. Music is a key part of BFF, with a packed program of live performances and DJs set to entertain until late each night.

Two standout tribute acts will take the stage on the opening evening, starting at 7.30pm: Amy Winehouse – Tributo Algarve and Simply the Best – A Tribute to Tina Turner. DJs Canhoto and Special K keep the energy high into the early hours.

The musical program continues on Saturday, July 26 at 6pm with Ben & The Pirates, followed by a throwback to the 1990s with Noventamente. DJs TuXx and Vasco Dantas will then take over to close out the night.

Starting at 6pm, the final night features Maritenda Allstars and a tribute to The Doors by Five to One, while DJs Borisoft and G3 will bring the festival to a high-energy finish.

Organised by the local parish council, the Boliqueime Food Festival is free to attend.
