Fifth Sunday of Easter mass this Sunday
A Catholic mass in English will be held for the Fifth Sunday of Easter this Sunday, May 18, at 4pm in Carvoeiro at the chapel on the cliffs, Ermida da Nossa Senhora da Encarnação [Our Lady of the Incarnation].
Everyone is welcome even if you do not normally attend this church. This Mass will be entirely in English: the readings, the hymns as well as the Order of Mass.
There will be a retiring collection for the Lagoa Food Bank, which supports over 100 families in need.
This mass will be in addition to the chapel’s usual Saturday evening Mass at 5.30pm (in Portuguese). This English Mass (usually the third Sunday of every month) does not replace that.
