Bars in Alvor are working together to raise funds for needy children in the Algarve.
A charity quiz night in aid of the Bom Samaritano children’s home is taking place at the Crow’s Nest Bar in Alvor tonight (Friday) from 8.30pm. Then a bingo night will be held on Thursday, November 29 at 7pm. Raffle tickets are on sale at the Crow’s Nest and Freddie’s Bar, also in Alvor. The owners already have the children’s wish list for presents and are hoping to buy as many as possible.
The Dog House bar has already purchased a tumble drier with funds raised.
