Chefs on Fire will feature a star-studded line-up
The full line-up has been unveiled for the Vilamoura edition of Chefs on Fire, Europe’s largest festival of fire, gastronomy, and music, which will take place at the Algarve resort between June 20 and 22.
In this fire-only kitchen, 12 chefs will take centre stage, each crafting signature dishes over flames, celebrating the “flavours of the Algarve”.
In the meat corner, expect sizzling plates from Marin Colomès (Alfredo), Pedro Pinto (Viceroy) and João Oliveira (Vista – Michelin star + 2 Repsol Suns).
Meanwhile, seafood lovers won’t be left behind. The fish line-up features José Lopes (Bon Bon), Louis Anjos (Al Sud) and Noélia Jerónimo (Noélia).
Vegetarians have not been forgotten and can expect top-class dishes from the likes of Paulo Carvalho (Zagaia), João Narigueta (Híbrido), and Lívia Orofino (Canalha – 1 Repsol Sun)
And for those with a sweet tooth, desserts are in safe hands with Márcio Baltazar, named Baker of the Year in 2022, Diogo Lopes (Four Seasons Ritz Lisbon), and Rita Santos (Esporão – 2 Repsol Suns).
Live music will also be a key feature of the festival, with Capitão Fausto (June 20), Best Youth (June 21) and Gisela João (June 22) confirmed as the performing acts.
Organised by Lohad and Vilamoura World, the festival offers visitors a four-dish experience (meat, fish, veggie and dessert) and a live concert for €60 per day. A vegetarian menu option is available.
