Following on from the success of the last two years, the Vale do Lobo Christmas Market returns to the resort on Saturday December 1.
The event combines a luxury lifestyle Christmas gift market with a gourmet food and wine area, allowing visitors to shop, eat, drink and generally be merry, tasting and buying a range of delicious offerings from some of the region’s leading restaurants and suppliers of speciality food and wine.
There will also be a wide selection of stalls selling Christmas gifts, including fashion items and accessories, gifts for the home, cosmetics, jewellery, flowers, cards, books, toys and much more.
Fine Dining in Style will once again provide a pop-up restaurant and more food will be available to eat, take home and taste from Asiana the Indian caterers, Breeze, Vila Vita Parc, Sweet Marilyn and Doces Pecados. Wine tasting and sales will be available from Herdade dos Grous, Quinta do Barranco Longo as well as a good selection from across the border in Spain.
Taking place inside the main Vale do Lobo auditorium, the Christmas Market is open from 11am until 5pm, and also includes a Santa’s grotto, children’s entertainment, live music with Betty M, Christmas carols with the Algarve Juniors and fashion shows. Victor Picardo hairdressers will be doing Christmas and party makeovers.
A charity contribution of €3 will be charged for adults, with proceeds going to the Wolf Valley Charity Fund, which provides support and finance to numerous needy causes in the local area. Every visitor is given a raffle ticket on entry, and additional tickets can be purchased on the day, with a host of great prizes on offer.
