An eleven-string alto guitar concert will be performed by talented musician John Fletcher at Ermida de Santa Ana in Tavira, as part of the Music in the Churches initiative. The concert, which takes place on October 26 at 6pm, will include a repertoire of songs from across the ages, including traditional Irish and Scottish tunes. ‘Music in the Churches’ is sponsored by Tavira Câmara, Pousadas de Portugal and Rádio Gilão, and is designed to promote both the ancient Ermida (chapel) and music in general. Admission is free.
