Conrad Algarve in Quinta do Lago has announced the return of ‘Night at the Palace’, a festive programme offering “extraordinary experiences” throughout the Christmas and New Year season.
For Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the five-star resort has prepared fine dining experiences at its prestigious restaurants. At the Michelin-starred Gusto by Heinz Beck, guests can enjoy “an elegant champagne and canapé reception followed by a seven-course meal” on December 24 at 7pm and on December 25 at 12.30pm. Cost is €205 per person (excluding beverages), with wine pairing available for €145, and €165 for children aged six to 12. The Nest Cocktails & Bar has also prepared a special festive menu for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at the same times, served in a family-style setting with live entertainment and children’s menus offered. Price is €95 for adults, plus €65 for wine pairing, and €60 for children.
Moving on to New Year’s Eve (December 31), Gusto by Heinz Beck is promising to wow revellers with an eight-course celebration menu featuring premium wine pairing and a bottle of Laurent-Perrier Champagne per couple, with live entertainment throughout the evening and fireworks at The Nest Terrace. The experience costs €515 per adult and €350 per child (children’s menu not available).
One of the highlights of the programme promises to be the ‘Night at the Palace’ ballroom party from 7pm to 1am, offering a “lavish buffet menu featuring the finest seafood, premium meats, live cooking stations and exquisite desserts” in an experience curated by executive chef Benjamin Painset. There will also be wine pairing, champagne and live music. Price is €325 for adults and €95 for children. A special ‘Night at the Little Palace’, designed especially for children, is also available (€125).
Capping off the programme is a New Year’s Brunch at The Nest, “full of culinary specialties, including a flute of sparkling wine per person,” for €145 (adults) and €65 (children).
