Stuart Greenwood was the winner of the April 26 crown green bowls competition at the Amendoeira Bowls Club, where he beat off stiff competition from Gordon Brooke before winning the final 11-8.
Meanwhile, the crown green competition held on April 22 saw club manager Peter Cain beat Peter Clarke, also by 11-8.
The Thursday competition finishes for the summer on April 29 to make way for the Bowls Algarve Summer League on the flat green which begins on May 6.
However, the Monday competition will continue as normal each week.
