The Portuguese U-21 national team enjoyed an explosive start to the first of its two Algarve friendlies against Holland last week. Orlando Sá scored twice during the opening seven minutes to pave the way for an easy 3-1 victory in Vila Real de Santo António, a feat he failed to repeat during a goalless Parchal encounter three days later. The games served as a warm-up for the age group’s forthcoming European Championships qualifying campaign.
