Wanda Crawford and Harm Tor celebrated their marriage on September 17 with a beach wedding on Faro Island.
A string quartet from the Algarve Orchestra accompanied Wanda as she was escorted out of a limousine and along a red carpet to her groom by a long-term family friend Tony Ferrada.
The couple, from Curiosa outdoor and indoor living specialists in Almancil, exchanged their vows on the beach under an arch of white flowers with the ceremony closing to the playing of Ava Maria and bridesmaids throwing rose petals into the air.
A highlight of the reception party included the cutting of two cakes, one a six-foot replica of the lighthouse on the island and the other, a five-tier groom’s cake.
