This Valentine’s Day, AlgarveShopping is inviting visitors to fall in love with a new four-legged friend.
The shopping centre in Guia, Albufeira has once again teamed up with ARA – Animal Rescue Algarve for a pet adoption campaign taking place on Saturday, February 14. The initiative runs from 10am to 5pm on the ground floor, next to the Meeting Point area.
Marking the month of love, the centre says the event aims to extend the Valentine’s spirit to animals in need of a home.
The space will be decorated to match the occasion, and visitors will have the chance to meet dogs and cats currently looking for a new family. Those interested will also be able to schedule visits to the ARA shelter to meet other animals and receive information about the responsible adoption process.
ARA – Animal Rescue Algarve focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming vulnerable animals across the region. The organisation also promotes awareness campaigns highlighting the importance of responsible adoption and animal welfare.
In a statement announcing the event, AlgarveShopping describes itself as pet friendly and says it offers conditions for visitors to bring pets into common areas and several stores, aiming to create a more inclusive shopping experience.
