Albufeira municipality is serving free meals for people in need at its new social canteen.
Albufeira Mayor Desidério Silva said: “We will continue to promote the project, hoping that more people come for a free meal. People with financial problems don’t need to be ashamed of coming for a meal.”
The meals are served daily, including weekends and holidays, at the canteen, near the Secondary School of Albufeira, from 6pm to 8pm.
If you would like to be a volunteer and join the project, please register at Gabinete de Apoio ao Munícipe, located at the Edifício dos Paços do Concelho in the headquarters of the Parish Council of Albufeira.
