Dunas Douradas Beach Club (DDBC) resort in Almancil will be offering its guests a special programme for this festive season.
The DDBC restaurant will be open for breakfast and lunch on the 24th, for breakfast and drinks on the 25th, and for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Boxing Day. A Christmas Day lunch will be served at Restaurant Xénia.
Big screens showing all the football matches on Boxing Day will be available at the DDBC bar.
The New Year’s Eve celebrations’ theme at the DDBC restaurant will be the Olympic Games, with a dinner celebrating the 2012 London Olympics, but hinting at the next Olympics to be hosted in Rio de Janeiro. Courses will comprise pea soup, salmon and grouper, wild boar, while dessert has a hint of a Brazilian flavour, all accompanied by Portuguese wine and capped off with Rio-style fireworks.
A Champagne lunch will be served on January 1.
