Che Lagoense badminton doubles pair Tomás Nero and Rafael Lopes reached the final of the Italian Junior Open before narrowly losing out 18-21, 21-15, 19-21 to Swiss top seeds Marin Baumann and Gaetan Mittelheisser.
Both players have been invited to play the April 28 Portuguese Open alongside senior Lagoa club mates Pedro Martins and Telma Santos.
