The Algarve’s most high profile football team, Farense, are back in the national Division II following a 1-0 play-off final victory over Cova de Piedade last Sunday.
More than 8,000 fans cheered on the former UEFA Cup participants, who will play their home matches at the Stadium of the Algarve next season.
