The fair has become a major event on the national calendar, drawing both residents and tourists to Loulé for a celebration of chocolate in all its forms – dark, milk, white, handmade, hot, in bonbons, cakes, and in innovative presentations that challenge the imagination.
The 16th edition not only celebrates the delights of chocolate but also reinforces Loulé’s commitment to promoting local trade, revitalising the urban centre, and offering memorable experiences to both locals and visitors. “It’s more than just a gastronomic event; it’s a vibrant social gathering, centred around the shared enjoyment of chocolate,” says organisers in a press statement.
Over the years, the Chocolate Fair has forged a special connection with the local community, deepening the emotional bond between the Loulé Market, the city, and the event itself. The fair has become an annual highlight, eagerly anticipated by chocolate aficionados and families alike.
With something for everyone, the fair is the perfect place to browse, discover new flavours, meet friends, or simply indulge in the joy of tasting “just one more”.
