The Parkalgar Honda team led by top rider Eugene Laverty (pictured) were at Silverstone this week to prepare for Sunday’s crucial World Supersport Championship round.
The Northern Ireland ace proved to be the fastest over a new circuit layout and should be able to close the gap on his rivals in the overall standings.
Meanwhile, the team’s Motor Park home track in the Algarve is looking forward to the August 8 and 9 Race of Champions Southern Europe final, for which three-fold Portuguese national TT champion Filipe Campos is the latest confirmed starter.
Proceedings will get under way with the Race of Champions Portugal and Race of Champions Legends from 8pm on Sunday, while the main event is scheduled for 10.30pm Monday.
