Announcement planned for Monday, July 21
The Els Club Vilamoura in the Algarve will host the announcement of a new international tournament set to debut in 2026 which will bring some of the world’s top golf stars to the region.
Four legendary golfers – Ernie Els, Colin Montgomerie, David Duval, and Stewart Cink – will be in attendance for the announcement of the new event.
Organisers say the new competition is expected to boost Portugal’s profile in the global golf scene and will an innovative event with a direct impact on both national and international golf.
Further details are being kept under wraps for now. The announcement event is invitation-only and will take place on Monday, July 21 from 8.30am to 2.30pm.
