Paid car park reopens in Armação de Pêra

549-space facility to operate 24 hours a day until September

A public parking silo in Armação de Pêra has reopened for the summer season, offering drivers additional parking in one of the Algarve’s busiest coastal areas.

The facility, located between Rua do Barlavento and Avenida dos Oceanos, will be open to the public until September 30, operating 24 hours a day.

With capacity for up to 549 vehicles, the car park is designed to help ease pressure during the peak tourist months, when demand for parking in the town increases significantly.

The site is managed by a company contracted by the local council and is equipped with security features including surveillance cameras and an automatic number plate recognition system.

Drivers can use the facility for as long as needed, with pricing and regulations available online through the municipality.
