Drivers heading to Praia da Rocha now have another year-round (paid) parking option.
The underground Rocha Prime car park, located in the heart of the popular beach area, is now operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round.
In previous years, the facility operated on seasonal periods and set opening times. That has now changed, with the space permanently available in a move aimed at improving the “quality of service, safety and convenience for users,” municipal company Emarp says in a statement.
The car park has 272 spaces spread across three underground levels, offering what operators describe as a “spacious, comfortable and accessible” parking solution.
Security is also highlighted as a key feature, with permanent on-site staff.
Prices range from €0.80 per hour (between October and May) to €1.20 (June to September). Seven, 15 and 30-day parking passes are also available. More info at www.portipark.pt.
