The ‘Friends of the New Goldra Dog Sanctuary’ are organising a sponsored walk in the countryside around Varjota, near Boliqueime, tomorrow (Saturday) from 2pm, to raise “much needed” funds for the animal shelter.
Owners with dogs are welcome to take part while Goldra volunteers will also be taking some of their dogs and are inviting participants without a pet to befriend one of their dogs as a “walking partner” on the day.
