Storm Therese is expected to bring several days of wet weather to Portugal this week, with rain and possible thunderstorms forecast particularly for the south and centre of the country.
According to the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), rain is expected to begin late on Tuesday and may persist until at least Saturday.
The Algarve and Alentejo regions are likely to be among the areas most affected, although showers are expected across much of mainland Portugal.
The new bout of bad weather follows what has already been an unusually rainy winter in Portugal, with last month confirmed to be the wettest February in nearly half a century.
