A TAP plane leaving Lisbon for Venice was hit by a bolt of lightning shortly after take-off yesterday.
Another effect of storm Claudia battering the country, the decision was made to turn back as a precaution.
There appeared to be no damage sustained. Passengers were transferred to another aircraft and later resumed their journey.
