Portimão-born volleyball star João José led his club side Friedrichshafen to a 3-0 German Cup semi-final victory over RWE Bottrop to qualify for the March 6 title clash with Generali Haching. The Algarvian, who also captains the Portuguese national side, has won the competition on four occasions since moving to his adopted home in 2004.
