Valverde Lawn Bowls Club, Almancil, had their final roll up before the Christmas break on Friday, December 13. Everyone came dressed for the occasion and there were mince pies and mulled wine.
A light-hearted mixed drive was won by new member Pat Smith, with Lynn Phillips in second place. The club will reopen on Monday, December 30. Visitors are welcome.
Valverde would like to wish all fellow bowlers in the Algarve a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
