A total of 213 Christmas presents have been collected by pupils of the Colégio Internacional de Vilamoura, together with parents and volunteers, as part of the ‘Shoe Box Appeal’, an international charity that makes donations to underprivileged children in countries worldwide, including Central Europe, Mozambique and Liberia and other parts of Africa. The sum of €250 was also raised to pay for the cost of sending the gifts, all wrapped in shoe boxes, to chosen destinations.
