The Vilamoura International School (CIV), part of the Inspired Education Group, will host an Open Day on Saturday, January 24, inviting families of children aged three to 18 to discover its educational project from early years to secondary education.
The Open Day runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm and offers families the chance to tour the campus, meet members of the academic and admissions teams, speak with students and gain a deeper knowledge of the educational experience offered at the school.
During the visit, families will be able to understand how CIV supports pupils throughout their academic journey, starting at the age of three and continuing through the completion of secondary education. The event also provides insight into the school’s teaching approach and the close-knit community that defines the CIB experience.
“Founded in 1984, CIV is one of the Algarve’s most prestigious private schools and is regularly ranked among the best in Portugal. In 2024, it placed fourth nationally in the Portuguese National Exams,” the school says in a statement to the press.
Students at CIV can follow either the Portuguese National Curriculum or an International Curriculum, which culminates in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), described by the school as one of the world’s most widely recognised qualifications and a gateway to leading universities.
Attendance at the Open Day is by prior registration only, with “places limited to ensure a personalised experience for each family.”
