Finally, after months of preparation, Dorothy and her grumbling Granny are on the yellow brick road to the emerald city to find the Wizard of Odd!
Aperitivo’s quirky and funny version of the old Wizard of Oz story opens this week at the cine-teatro in São Brás.
Accompanied by the heartless Tin Man, the brainless Straw Man and the Cowardly Lion, Dorothy hopes that all their problems will be solved when they finally reach the Wizard.
Helped by the Elegant Elf of the East (as long as it’s in office hours), hindered by the Wicked Witch of the West and totally confused by a wandering band of Buddhist Monks, will the friends reach their destination? Will the Wizard be able to help them, or does he have problems of his own? And who is the true owner of the ruby shoes?
Discover the answer to all these questions while thoroughly enjoying yourself at one of the performances.
Tickets cost €8 (members of Moncarapacho Casa do Povo pay €6) and children under 12 enter for free, if each is accompanied by an adult.
