To celebrate Sir Cliff Richard’s 50 years in the music industry, the Algarve Resident, in association with Adega do Cantor in Guia, is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a box of two bottles of the new Vida Nova Espumante.
The limited edition new sparkling rosé wine, which has been created at the boutique winery in Guia, uses Syrah grapes picked in 2008 and was left to ferment slowly at low temperatures before being bottled using the Methode Classique, allowing further fermentation within the bottle.
Rebecca Birch from the Adega do Cantor told the Algarve Resident: “People have been very excited about this new wine, especially because it is linked so closely to Sir Cliff Richard.”
She added: “There are a couple of discreet references to Sir Cliff Richard and his 50 years in the music industry on the bottle, including the number 50 on the neck of the bottle and Sir Cliff’s signature has been made into a pattern on the foil covering the cork.”
Now, one lucky reader will have the chance to taste the much- anticipated Vida Nova Espumante, whose launch also coincides with Sir Cliff’s 70th birthday celebrations.
