Lagoa is rolling out the yoga mats once again for the 5th edition of YogaFest, taking place between September 12 and 14 at Convent’Bio, an organic grocer located at the Carmo convent just off the EN125.
Organised by the local cultural association Ideias do Levante, the event is designed for everyone – from longtime practitioners to those trying yoga for the very first time.
This year’s sessions will be kept small – just 15 people per class – to allow closer contact with facilitators (yoga teachers who leads and guides individuals and groups through yoga practices) and a friendlier atmosphere
Registrations can be made through an online form, and while sessions are free, participants are asked to make a voluntary donation directly to the facilitators. All you need to bring is comfortable clothing, a mat, a drink, a towel, and, if you like, a cushion or block for extra support.
Alongside the sessions, there will be space to meet facilitators, therapists, and organisations connected to wellbeing across the Algarve. Supported by the municipal council of Lagoa and local partners, the festival aims to highlight Lagoa as a gathering place for healthier, more conscious living.
