Zoomarine Algarve will hold an Open Day recruitment event on Friday, February 20 from 10am to 5pm, aimed at candidates from across the country interested in learning about job opportunities at the theme park and meeting its teams.
In a statement, the theme park located in Guia, Albufeira said the event will include presentations by the park’s various departments, outlining their areas of activity and the profiles they are seeking, in an informal and accessible format designed to encourage dialogue and direct contact with team leaders.
The programme will also feature experience-sharing sessions with current employees and the possibility of short on-the-spot interviews, offering participants an opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview of the park and its employment opportunities.
Available positions span a wide range of areas, including animal welfare and veterinary medicine, such as animal welfare technicians working with birds and marine mammals, as well as veterinary medicine internships. Opportunities will also be presented in environmental education, park operations, catering, retail, technical services, information technology and administrative functions.
According to the company, this diversity reflects the range of professional paths within Zoomarine, which collectively contribute to animal welfare, biodiversity conservation, environmental education and the overall visitor experience.
The initiative has nationwide scope and is also open to candidates living outside the Algarve, as Zoomarine provides support with accommodation and travel for relocated employees, “reinforcing its commitment to attracting talent at a national level.”
Participation in the recruitment open day requires prior registration via Zoomarine’s official website.
