The Portuguese amateur golf team beat their professional counterparts to lift the Taça Manuel Agrellos in Palmela last weekend. The final day of the competition saw new national amateur champion Gonçalo Pinto score a surprise victory over European Tour player and Portuguese No1 Ricardo Santos to contribute significantly to the 11-9 final result.
