The Fatacil Restaurant in Lagoa was the venue for the Algarve Senior Bikers’ charity lunch this year in support of the teenagers at the Gaivota Home in Albufeira.
After the lunch, David Shirley, who initiated the ASB in June 2010, gave a short review of the year and thanked all those present for their support.
A total of €450 was raised through donations and a raffle and the door prize of a homemade Christmas Cake made by Dee Shirley was won by Rosalinde Betts from Alvor.
The next event will be a New Year ride and lunch on January 10. Meet at São Brás de Alportel at 10am at the Total service station.
