All are invited to a special festive event, “Christmas at The Museum”, a children’s recital fundraiser organised by Lighthouse Portugal, on Friday, December 12, at the historic Casa-Museu Manuel Teixeira Gomes in Portimão, at 6.30pm.
Students have been preparing with dedication and enthusiasm to share a program of songs and performances that “embody the spirit of Christmas, hope, and togetherness”.
Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to the children perform and showcase their talents, celebrate their creativity and spend a special moment together reflecting on the season of giving.
This year, the recital will include a small fundraising initiative. All contributions will go directly towards supporting the Lighthouse’s educational and community projects, with a special focus on initiatives that help children in need in Angola.
The event is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to invite family and friends to join the celebration.
“We are incredibly proud of our students’ commitment and can’t wait for them to share their joy,” says a spokesperson for Lighthouse. “It will be a simple but very special time. Your presence and encouragement mean a lot to us and, more importantly, to the children we serve both here and in Angola.”
To assist with space organisation, attendees are kindly asked to confirm their attendance by December 5: info@lighthouseportugal.org
