Five-time Tour of Portugal winner David Blanco has suggested that he is ready to retire following Tavira’s inability to come up with an acceptable offer to facilitate his return to the Algarve. Meanwhile, another former Tavira team star, Ricardo Mestre, has begun training with Basque Pro Tour outfit Euskatel-Euskadi.
