An online survey by Loulé Câmara to assess the success of events held in the municipality has revealed that Festival MED was the event that most people wanted to see repeated.
The survey questioned people from across the Algarve, although the majority were from the municipality of Loulé, about the events they most enjoyed during 2010 and the ones they would like to see repeated during 2011.
Festival MED proved to be most popular, closely followed by White Night and then Loulé Carnival. The least popular events were found to be the Surforeggae music festival and the New Year’s Eve celebration.
The survey also showed that the majority of those questioned found activities in Loulé to be of a “good” standard (61%) with only 3% considering activities in the municipality to be “weak” or “very weak”.
The next edition of White Night in Loulé is due to take place on August 27.
